AlmaGea

For each product sold, cavaliga donates 50 cents to AlmaGea .

Founded by Christin and Luca, AlmaGea is a sanctuary for animals in need in Sicily. These include animals rescued from industrial farming, cats and stray dogs, and chickens rescued from the egg industry. They can now all enjoy their lives there. They hope to rescue and take in many more animals in the future.

Their project also aims to contribute to environmental protection. They have established a food forest using permaculture and regenerative agriculture principles, are rebuilding soils depleted by conventional agriculture, are trying to protect heritage varieties, and are fighting for forest preservation.

They live vegan out of respect for animals and for the health of our planet.
